Visual Notetaking
“I first came across Anthony’s sketch notes when we attended a conference together. His ability to capture the essence and key points of the lecturer amazed me. I couldn’t stop watching. Not only was the work artistically amazing, I was able to follow and comprehend the sketch notes better than my own.”
Visual notetaking, also known as sketchnoting or graphic recording, is our specialty here at Notist. By combining aspects of illustration and hand lettering, ideas are distilled into a unique format that viewers Like and #share. Sketchnotes deliver information in a fun, novel way, and that novelty is the key to transforming static words on a page or presentation into dynamic content worth retaining and engaging with. We’ve worked with authors, facilitators, speakers, trainers and event organizers to engage their audiences in a whole new way and deliver a one-of-a-kind experience.
Fun-sized content for an audience on-the-go
The internet has made information easier to access that ever before, but how does your content rise above and stand apart? Enticing the eye is a good place to start. How about adding a bit of novelty? Provide the viewer with a taste of the value they seek and you’re well on your way to engagement. Let us show you how.
Microsoft brand summit
The Microsoft Brand team assembled a who’s-who of thought leaders in the brand space and a select group of internal leaders for a full day of discussion at their headquarters in Redmond, WA. After seeing our visual notetaking at AdobeMax, the brand team felt this approach to capturing key takeaways from the day in a fun, visually engaging format would be the perfect way to share ideas with the rest of the organization.
“I wanted to create something different, an unforgettable deliverable for my first facilitation. We had so much fun designing a visual report poster that summarized all the key takeaways from my half-day workshop. My client was impressed and delighted by the final result.”
